I’m not sure if it’s true about an apple a day keeping the doctor away, but I do know a strong immunity wards off illness during my travels. Sure, traveling is fun, but it could also be the recipe for getting sick. Part of keeping my immunity strong is getting plenty of rest, enough exercise, and ensuring I’m feeding my body the right vitamins and nutrients. In a world of processed foods and as I get older, I’m more conscious of what I’m putting into my body.
In addition to moving toward a cleaner diet, I supplement my nutrition with a whole gaggle of supplements and vitamins. I’m always keeping an eye open for the best and latest in supplements which is why I’m happy to learn about this news from Garden of Life. They have come out with the first whole food multivitamin that’s USDA certified organic, non-GMO verified, certified vegan, free of synthetic binders and fillers, and made with real food. And love.
Good Things – and Multivitamins – for Those Who Wait
This line of multivitamins is called Kind Organics and is made with more than 30 fruits and vegetables, such as broccoli, ginger, blueberries and sea kelp – all organic.
It’s been about a decade in the making and the patent-pending process of making a tablet without binders (such as magnesium stearate) is called Clean Tablet Technology ™. Garden of Life has been working with a scientist for years to create this type of multi and several months ago, they teamed up with actress, author, and health advocate Alicia Silverstone to create the Kind Organics line. The tablet is easy to swallow and has a slightly sweet flavor.
You’re Not “Clueless” About Alicia Silverstone, Are You?
“As if,” (sorry, a little Clueless humor) you’re familiar with Ms. Silverstone, she’s very much committed to eating a diet of organic, chemical-free and cruelty-free food. One of the books she’s penned is The Kind Diet: A Simple Guide to Feeling Great, Losing Weight, and Saving the Planet
It should be easy for you to find Kind Organics, they are carried at my local Earth Origins store (Port Charlotte, Fla.), where I find other Garden of Life vitamins and supplements, as well as Richard’s Foodporium and Vitamin World.
Happy and healthy travels!
Disclosure: Garden of Life provided me with complimentary bottles of Women’s Multi and Men’s Multi in order to review, although I haven’t tried the men’s. Opinions in this post are my own and have not been reviewed by Garden of Life.
