Gatorama’s Alligator Hatching Festival is Scheduled for Aug. 21 – 29, 2021

PALMDALE, Fla., (Aug. 2, 2021) – Tickets are now available for Florida’s snappiest event, Gatorama’s 18th Annual Alligator Hatching Festival scheduled Aug. 21 – 29 with the exception of Tuesday and Wednesday that week. Baby alligators are chirping, grunting, and snapping out of their shells this time of year and festival attendees can hold and hatch alligator eggs in their hands. The family-friendly festival takes place at the animal park located at 10665 U.S. Highway 27 in Palmdale.

Peace River Wildlife Center Hosting Family-Friendly Fur, Feathers & Food Fundraising Event Aug. 21, 2021

PUNTA GORDA, Fla. (Aug. 08, 2021) – Luna, a rare leucistic screech owl, is primping his feathers in preparation of a frolicking good time Saturday, Aug. 21 when the Peace River Wildlife Center (PRWC) hosts Fur, Feathers & Food. The fundraiser features carnival games, food, a photo booth, live music, and overall family-friendly fun. Admission is free, and a $10 donation per person provides access to all activities including a hot dog. The event is noon – 4 p.m. at the Ponce de Leon Park facility at 3400 Ponce de Leon Pkwy., in Punta Gorda.
