A new year means new travel opportunities and 2012 promises exciting reasons to travel. Have you considered visiting London to attend the 2012 Summer Olympic Games?

Having visited London several times for business, I’m pretty comfortable navigating through the city and am considering a trip across the pond to see some of the 2012 Olympics. For an extended stay (more than a few nights), I’d consider apartment-hotels.com for the value, location, ability to prepare my own meals, and opportunity to live like a local.

London is a wonderful city and it was the location of my first overseas business trip. For anyone looking to take their first international trip, consider London. There isn’t a language barrier, Londoners (typically) like Americans, it’s easy to get around, there are affordable lodging options and plenty to see and do.

During my first business trip to London I realized the importance of taking advantage of what free time I had between appointments to experience the destination. One morning I ended up waking up at 5 o’clock to take the Tube (subway) into the city to see Buckingham Palace (I was a big Princess Diana fan and needed to see something royal.) During another business trip to London I was entertaining clients at the Oxo Tower Restaurant, which offers a spectacular view of the city and Thames River, and noticed actress Renée Zellweger dining with a group of friends at the next table over. The REAL Bridget Jones! Very cool, I know. One thing I want to try next time is flemings mayfair hotels as I hear they’re the epitome of luxury!

Find your passport and ready to go? Consider staying in an apartment booked with lifelong Londoners Robert and Polly Arnold. Alternatively, look for a loft in Space Station that can give you an amazingly spacey place to live. They’ve raised their three children in the city and use their vast knowledge of Central London sights to add a personal touch to guests who book with them.

Polly and Robert, who are supporting my travel habit, take the hassle out of finding perfect London Apartments, enabling guests to enjoy their vacations. They have 22 years of experience in booking apartments, take pride in their city and want visitors to have the best experience in London.

Whether planning a trip across the pond for the 2012 Summer Olympics (July 27 – Aug 12) or planning a leisurely vacation, begin searching apartment-hotels.com sooner than later to find the best fit for you.
