Charlotte County – It’s High Time for a Tweetup!

It's a Tweetup!

Charlotte County residents who use Twitter, Facebook and other social media outlets are invited to attend Charlotte County’s first Tweetup on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2011, between 5 and 8 p.m. at Hendrick’s Deli and Chill-Out Lounge in Punta Gorda. (@HendricksPG; 615 Cross Street)

What is a Tweetup?

A Tweetup is an informal meeting of people who use the social messaging medium Twitter. This Tweetup is an opportunity to meet and learn more about the people and organizations your follow and interact with in Charlotte County, Florida.

The event is being coordinated by Charlie Rose with Impact Agency (@cr8impact) and Jennifer Huber, social media enthusiast and public relations manager with the Charlotte Harbor Visitor & Convention Bureau (@jenniferhuber and @chgiflorida).

Light snacks will be provided and prizes supplied by North Star Games will be given away.

To register, either RSVP on the event’s Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=235545493177043) or @jenniferhuber or @cr8impact on Twitter.

Why Am I Doing This?

It just seems high time Charlotte County’s social media enthusiasts connect in person. We’re pretty social online but face-to-face is a good thing to.

Hope to see you there!

Jenn

When not traveling, she is either in the kitchen, practicing her photography skills, or road tripping with her dog, Radcliff.
