Me! Honored Solo Travel Girl Has Been Nominated as Best Travel Blog in the Sunshine Blog Awards 2015

I received some ohmygoodness news last week and I want to express my sincere thanks to those who made it happen. Solo Travel Girl has been nominated for a Sunshine Blog Award! This blog is one of three in the running for Best Travel Blog.

I am honored and humbled because I’m in company with two other amazing blogs and I personally know one of the bloggers.

Your support over the years means so much to me. Thank you. Thank you! THANK YOU!

Thank You to Blue Yonder Design and Rob Smith Jr.
I would also like to thank Jen Shepard with Blue Yonder Design and Pin-n-Tell and Rob Smith Jr.

Jen makes this blog look pretty and ensures it’s up and running. I’ve been working with her for, gosh, I guess 10 years now! She was with me prior to Solo Travel Girl when I maintained other blogs.

Rob is the talented cartoonist who gave Solo Travel Girl a face. He encapsulated my spirit into this blog’s logo when I launched it in 2009.

I’d Be Honored if You Could…
If you have a second, I’d be honored to have your vote. You can visit the Gotta Get Blogging website and vote for Solo Travel Girl Blog under #8 Best Travel Blog. I’m not sure when voting ends but I suspect sometime in February.

No matter the outcome, I have already won because I have you as a reader.

Again, a sincere thank you!

Jenn

Jennifer A. Huber is an award-winning travel and outdoor blogger and writer in Southwest Florida. Originally from Buffalo, N.Y., a hiking trail led her to a career path in the tourism industry for more than 30 years. She spent a decade with a park management company in Yellowstone, Death Valley, and Everglades National Parks. She founded the travel blog, SoloTravelGirl.com with the goal of inspiring others to travel alone, not lonely. The unexpected death of her former husband in 2008 reminded her how short life is. His passing was a catalyst for sharing her experiences with the goal of inspiring and empowering others to travel solo. Jennifer holds a Travel Marketing Professional certification from the Southeast Tourism Society, is a certified food judge, member of the NASA Social community, and alum of the FBI Citizens Academy. When not traveling, she is either in the kitchen, practicing her photography skills, or road tripping with her dog, Radcliff.
