Every Traveler Needs a Picnic Basket

Willow Picnic Basket
Willow Picnic Basket - One of the Best Gifts I've Received

One of the coolest gifts I’ve ever received was a picnic basket and I say it’s one of the best gifts because it embodies the traditional road tripping traveler. (Thank you Mom & Dad!) Who doesn’t like stopping during a long journey to take a break and enjoy your favorite road tripping foods? Everyone doesn’t have a budget to stop at every fab little hometown eats and it’s very tempting to make a stop at the Golden Arches. Bringing along your snacks and meals on a road trip is usually good on the budget, body and soul. My favorite road tripping food is dates stuffed with goat cheese. Yum!

My new friends with Internet Retail Connection, who are supporting my traveling habit, asked me to review one of their sites, Picnic World. Without a doubt, this is a thorough resource for picnic baskets offering a wide selection of picnic backpacks, wine totes and coffee backpacks. Need a unique wedding gift idea? Choose a traditional and romantic willow basket. For the road tripping traveler in your life, they’d appreciate an insulated picnic cooler or a groovy picnic backpack.

Product descriptions are detailed enough to make a purchase decision. Orders can easily be placed online with secured checkout. Major credit cards are accepted and I love they also accept PayPal. Although the site is thorough and the checkout process seems very easy (you can ship a basket directly to your gift recipient and check your order status), customer service is easily accessible. Picnic World jests their customer service representatives have Ph.D.s in picnic baskets and what I really like about this site is that it includes a photo of the staff. Coupled with the straightforward website design, Picnic World is a company you want to do business with because you’re treated as a human rather than a number. I’ll definitely be bookmarking the site for future gift ideas.
