Secret Outlast Clear Gel Antiperspirant and Deodorant has Kept Me Cool and Fresh

Be prepared, I’m going to get personal. Driving to the office one morning a couple of weeks ago something seemed off with my air conditioning. At lunch, I hopped it, turned the key and was blasted by dry heat. Yup, my air conditioning was gone, the inside temperature read 101 degrees, I was glistening profusely (glistening is a Southern term for women sweating), wearing a rayon top yet I wasn’t, well, stinky. Coincidentally, I was trying Secret Outlast Clear Gel Antiperspirant and Deodorant (Completely Clean scent) which I received in my Spring Fever VoxBox from Influenster.

I’m extremely picky about deodorant because it’s hard to find one effective enough to prevent odor. I’ve been loyal to another Secret deodorant for more than a year and although it keeps me dry it doesn’t necessarily, well, leave me smelling like a fresh flower. There have been times when I’ve traveled all day and feel bad for the person sitting next to me on the airplane. I’m not sure if they notice but I sure do. Using Secret Outlast Clear Gel last month during my travels, I felt pretty confident I wasn’t causing any gagging.

As for the antiperspirant part of the product, I didn’t always feel dry, especially when driving around in Florida summer heat without air conditioning for two days, but my pits didn’t drip and I didn’t sweat through my tops.

White marks are another challenge with my current deodorant no matter how hard I try to avoid them. I’ve had those days of going into the office feeling and looking sharp until I look at myself in the restroom mirror mortified after realizing I’d been walking around for the last two hours with white marks at the base of my black blouse. Ugh! I didn’t have those concerns with Secret Outlast Clear Gel because as the name implies, it’s clear so there are no white streaks.

Did you know there’s a special dance for those who try every which way to avoid those white streaks? It’s called the “Deo Dance” and in the video below Bravo star Jenni Pulos demonstrates how it’s done.

Overall, Secret Outlast Clear Gel was pretty effective and will end up on my shopping list and packing list.
