Have you been photographed by Google Street View? I haven’t but my dad has and although the image was taken in August 2011, today was the first day I saw him online. Today is also the first day my family learned his image was captured. That’s him in the photo above.
I realize TONS of people have been photographed on Street View, there are even websites highlighting fun moments frozen in time. I’m just tickled seeing someone I know, and he happens to be my father, on the map!
I asked if he remembered seeing the Google car and he did but didn’t think it was capturing data, or at least his image, as it drove by.
Now he’s immortalized on Google Street View until the next update, whenever that may be. I’m not sure how often they send the Google Mobile on the road, do you?
