Dog packs around the world are yapping in glee over the news a pet-friendly glamping rentals website launched. Called Glamping Hub for Pets, the new site, which is part of Glamping Hub, is a community of pet owners offering a resource for booking pet-friendly outdoor lodging, trip planning and pet travel tips.
Being a blue-eyed, “they’re real and they’re spectacular” female traveling solo in Vietnam, I knew I would draw some looks, however, I didn’t suspect I would become an attraction when I mailed 47 postcards. Yes, my postcard list has grown a bit over the years and it contains a mix of family, friends and Solo Travel Girl blog readers who a are a member of my postcard club.

I love a bargain and appreciate thrift shops, however, my recent quest for a new travel purse cost me a little more than I anticipated. In fact, when it’s all said and done, I ended up spending triple digits last weekend but not just for the purses.

What my naive self learned was being a Harley-Davidson rider isn’t about owning a piece of thrusting horsepower you put between your legs, it’s about living a dream and being part of a community.
During my March visit to Thailand, I tossed aside my inhibitions and danced with the Tai Dam people in Ban Na Pa Nat of the Chiang Khan district in the Loei Province. And yes, I did it without the assistance of good libations.
