Fort Myers to Host Tattoo and Music Festival, March 2 – 4, 2012

To tattoo or not to tattoo? That’s the question I’ve pondered for a long time. As in 10 years. I know they stay with you forever and I’ve seen some really stupid tats on people, especially when I was in college. I’ve also seen some really amazing tattoos on folks.

If I did ever ink up, it’d be something to embrace the Irish in me, something similar to this Celtic symbol called a spiral triskele:

Wouldn't this Spiral Triskele Look Awesome as a Tattoo?

Why? Because of all the European heritages that make up me (German, Czech, probably Austrian, and Irish), I connect with Irish the most and I have Grandma B. to thank for that.

Ink Life Tattoo and Music Festival: March 2 – 4 in Fort Myers

Curious about Tattoos? Enjoy music? If so, then the Ink Life Tattoo and Music Festival will be rolling into the Harborside Event Center in Fort Myers, Fla., March 2 – 4, 2012. The three-day event will feature by more than 150 world-renowned and local tattoo artists who will be inking folks up. Star of TLC’s LA Ink Amy Nicoletto is one of those artists.

In addition to permanent inking browse through clothing and merchandise vendors, rock out to the Band Showcase, be awed yet disturbed during the human suspension show, be daring and compete in the pole dancing competition (Darn! I won’t be ready for that) and view sideshows, live tattooing, tattoo contests and live music.

Ink Life Tour is designed to attract today’s mainstream audience of tattoo enthusiasts which means, don’t worry if you’re not covered in ink. It’s OK, you’ll be accepted.

“We have been doing these shows all over the country for the past two years and being a Lee County resident most of my life I felt we were ready for an event like this,” says Ragen St. Peter, Ink Life Tour Founder and Lee County resident for 24 years. “I am very excited to bring this amazing event and a slew of national media coverage to my home town!”
