I’m so excited, Food Network’s South Beach Wine & Food Festival kicks off this Thursday (Feb. 25, 2010) and I’ll be attending Saturday’s Whole Foods Market Grand Tasting Village to see celeb chefs as Bobby Flay, Rachel Ray,and Emeril Lagasse create super star dishes. Last year I attended Harrah’s Casino Night with Paula Deen (check out the video) and Barilla’s Interactive Cooking Event with Guy Fieri.
My mission this year is to get a sampling of what each chef is saying and creating. I mean, need to get my $200+ worth from the event. I’ll also be interviewing Food Network’s Marcela Valladolid who specializes in Mexican cooking – yum! I’ve been doing some research on her and she has an intriguing background. Stay tuned for an interview in the near future.
My taste buds will be using this week to gear up for a tasty weekend and until then, check out some of my photos from last year’s cooking event with Mr. Fieri.
