End of the Line for Solo Travel Girl’s Adventures Near & Far Radio Show

All good things come to an end and after winning an Excellence in Craft Award for Radio/Podcast from the Florida Outdoor Writers Association last month, I’m pulling the plug on my weekly radio show on WKDW 97.5 FM with the last show airing Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018, at Noon. I know it’s difficult to say goodbye but don’t be sad, I have plans to launch a podcast, Solo Travel Girl’s Florida Adventures, very soon, so stay tuned!

It’s been an honor and privilege broadcasting over the WKDW 97.5 FM airwaves for the past two years and I sincerely appreciate you tuning in and listening. Thank you to station management for giving me this opportunity to share my perspective of the travel world and how community radio operates. I extend gratitude to Kim Galloway, my show producer and WKDW Show Host of the fantastic music show called Facets. Kim plays songs from her expansive music collection every Monday between 4 – 6 p.m. Listen online at kdwradio.com

And most importantly, thank you, the listeners for being there. You can keep up with my adventures on this blog (SoloTravelGirl.com) or on Facebook at Facebook.com/solotravelgirl.

His passing was a catalyst for sharing her experiences with the goal of inspiring and empowering others to travel solo.
