Whoever said, “don’t drink your calories,” has yet to explore the Cool Craft Beverage Trail in West Volusia County, Fla. Birthed during the pandemic, and introduced to the world in November 2020, this is one of the newest things to do in DeLand. The trail features places and beverages that make this part of Florida special. Or, as the tourism offices states, it’s “Old Florida. New vibe.”

Peace River Wildlife Center Builds New Cages to Accommodate More Wildlife Patients

Peace River Wildlife Center (PRWC) Hospital is receiving and treating more patients this year over last year. To accommodate the increase, the center is building new outdoor caging and fencing for the hospital. Work began following the Punta Gorda City Council’s approval of a three-year extension of the hospital on August 25.
