I’d love to share a trip to Atlanta which included a visit to opens in a new windowFlip Burger Boutique, animal print robes in a bar, and my “missed connection” at ATL. Unfortunately, I barely have the energy to write this post. Life has been sucked out of me, my sinuses are killing me and ears are plugged. I’m sick and can’t imagine how I would feel if I didn’t get my flu shot. So, all of these good things will have to wait, along with tales of other adventures.

Until whenever, let the salivating begin with the photo from Flip Burger.

Originally from Buffalo, N.Y., a hiking trail led her to a career path in the tourism industry for more than 30 years. She spent a decade with a park management company in Yellowstone, Death Valley, and Everglades National Parks. She founded the travel blog, with the goal of inspiring others to travel alone, not lonely. The unexpected death of her former husband in 2008 reminded her how short life is. His passing was a catalyst for sharing her experiences with the goal of inspiring and empowering others to travel solo. When not traveling, she is either in the kitchen, practicing her photography skills, or road tripping with her dog, Radcliff.
