Actor Elijah Wood traveled from Middle-earth to Sarasota earlier this week as part of the Ringling College Digital Filmmaking Studio Lab, a collaboration between Ringling College of Art & Design and Future of Films, LLC. During his visit he worked with students and last night, he answered questions from guests and students. I was lucky enough to be the +1 of a friend.
Wood is recognized for his movie accomplishments and for those who don’t know, he played the lead role of hobbit ‘Frodo Baggins’, in “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy, which is based on the books by J.R.R. Tolkein. Personally, I thought he was fab in “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” – one of the few DVDs I own.
