A Solo Travel Girl Is: Personable, Punctual and Priceless

From A to Z, what are the characteristics of a solo travel girl? This pretty princess is personable, punctual and priceless!

Personable  –  This ambling babe hasn’t met a person she can’t chat up. Sometimes she finds herself in situations where others open up like a faucet confessing their deepest, darkest secrets, even on first meeting. Even sentries who guard Buckingham Palace find it difficult to ignore the solo travel girl.

Punctual – Tick-tock, tick-tock. Never keep a lady waiting, or a man for that matter…well, maybe he can wait a little bit. This lady vagabond knows it’s impolite and disrespectful to be late, whether for an important date or casual meeting. Being ten minutes early means she’s on time and on time means she’s late.  In rare occasions she’s late, she always calls, texts, or emails her appointment.

Priceless – Passport Renewal: $110. Round-trip Airfare to Rio: $1,300. The solo travel girl? Priceless…

Are you a solo travel girl? What other qualities beginning with the letter “P” can be attributed to a solo travel girl?

Visiting the Flight 93 National Memorial with My Dog

Driving through Western Pennsylvania’s rolling farmland, I held back tears thinking of the afternoon’s destination, the Flight 93 National Memorial. Almost 20 years later, the thoughts of the tragic events of September 11, 2001, still trigger deep emotions.
