Visiting Florida? Key Lime Pie is One of the Must-Eat Foods During a Vacation in the Sunshine State.

During these days of social distancing and quarantining, I am publishing a travel-related word search each week. I will do so every Wednesday until we find our new normal and this is week #12. Wow! That means, three months of word searches! To take your mind off COVID-19 news, download this free printable word search with the theme of Florida Food.

This Week’s Printable Word Search

Everyone needs to eat while on vacation so when you’re visiting the Sunshine State, this printable word search contains 25 yummy eats (which includes some beverages) you need to taste. From Apalachicola Oysters to Sweet Tea and Blue Crabs to Sugar Cane, there is fabulous Florida food fitting everyone’s flavor.

When we no longer need to social distance, one of the best ways to taste some of Florida’s signature foods is through a foodie festival like the Strawberry Festival in Plant City and Swamp Cabbage Festival in LaBelle. Learn about other delicious Florida food festivals in this blog post.

Up Your Foodie Game, Become a Food Judge

If you’re an uber-foodie, consider becoming a certified food judge through the World Food Championships’ Licensed to E.A.T. class. The E.A.T. method in judging stands for execution, appearance and taste. I became a certified food judge several years ago as a guest of the World Food Championships – the ultimate food fight – and I encourage you to do the same. The class is now available online for $30. Certified E.A.T. judges can judge in E.A.T. sanctioned events around the world including the Main Event. Learn more about earning your food judge certification here.
