I hope you enjoy this printable for Word Search Wednesday. The theme focuses on National Parks! Next week, April 20 – 28, 2020, is opens in a new window National Park Week. There are 419 national park units in the United States ranging from parks, historic sites, monuments, seashores, and rivers. Each American lives within about 100 miles of a national park unit. Although there are national parks throughout the world, as filmmaker Ken Burns documented, the opens in a new windownational parks are America’s best idea. The U.S. is the leader in parks as Yellowstone, established in 1872, is the world’s first national park. If you have not yet, I hope you visit the park, it’s a spectacular place with all sorts of natural oddities.
