From A to Z, what are the characteristics of a solo travel girl? This grand dame is quiet, question-hungry and quirky!

Quiet – Ssshhh! Yes, the solo travel girl may be the life of the party yet there are times when she relishes quiet moments to mentally find her center, especially after a hectic travel itinerary. Sometimes in the company of large crowds, some may think she’s an anti-social wallflower and in reality she’s assessing the room and every conversation to ensure she’s in the know.

Question-Hungry– The world’s best interviewers have taken a cue from the STG. It’s been established she can chat up just about anyone and that’s because she’s mastered the art of the conversation by subtly asking questions in a manner the subject does not know they are being interviewed. Rather, they feel they are having an in-depth conversation with a dear friend. In a way, they are. The solo travel girl is genuinely interested in what they have to say and what she can learn from her new friend.

Quirky – Her tastes are a bit peculiar and eclectic which make her adventures all the more intriguing. This curious babe is always on the quest for the odd, unique and quirky ensuring her bucket list is full of one-of-a-kind adventures and experiences.

Visiting the Flight 93 National Memorial with My Dog

Driving through Western Pennsylvania’s rolling farmland, I held back tears thinking of the afternoon’s destination, the Flight 93 National Memorial. Almost 20 years later, the thoughts of the tragic events of September 11, 2001, still trigger deep emotions.
