Attending NASA Tweetup for the Endeavour launch in April and May was amazing. Viewing the final space shuttle launch EVER was incredible. Invited to watch the space shuttle landing was an honor and humbling.

This week’s Wordless Wednesday post is this video of Atlantis’ landing on July 21, 2011, at Kennedy Space Center, Fla. I admit the video isn’t great at all – it’s mostly of darkness, but I love the audio. It still gives me goosebumps listening.

To add dimension (and hide my poor video skills) I incorporated tweets from some of the NASA Tweetup participants along with other tweets with the #NASATweetup tag.

Again, thanks to Eileen Ludwig of Freelance Tourist: Travel Tips for the invite.

Enjoy!
