Wordless Wednesday: Oil-Free Florida Beach

Saturday was opens in a new windowThe Great VISIT FLORIDA Beach Walk. I walked my 2+ miles at Stump Pass Beach State Park and uploaded it to opens in a new windowwww.visitfloridabeachwalk.com to show the world my stretch of beach is oil-free .

This week’s image is one of the most interesting things I found that morning, although if I had time, I’m sure I would have found all sorts of groovy sea treasures.

Peace River Wildlife Center Builds New Cages to Accommodate More Wildlife Patients

Peace River Wildlife Center (PRWC) Hospital is receiving and treating more patients this year over last year. To accommodate the increase, the center is building new outdoor caging and fencing for the hospital. Work began following the Punta Gorda City Council’s approval of a three-year extension of the hospital on August 25.
