Wordless Wednesday: Paddling the Wakulla

Last Friday seemed like a Saturday. I spent the morning paddling three miles on the Wakulla River with outfitters The Wilderness Way. It was a must needed change from sitting in the office. Located less than a 20-minute drive from Tallahassee, I enjoyed a  leisurely and relaxing kayaking trip with tons of opportunities to spot birds, gorgeous spider webs, magnificent trees, majestic manatees and humans bow fishing.

While I don’t have a photo of humans bow fishing (they fished with a bow and arrows) or spider webs (the morning dew jeweled them up), I have groovy photos over on Flickr from my kayaking trip.

For more outdoor activities in Wakulla, check out my article, “Ecotourism Travel in Wakulla.”
