Wordless Wednesday: Charlotte County’s Wildflower Preserve

The first weekend of December I joined about a half-dozen amateur photographers walked through the Lemon Bay Conservancy’s Wildflower Preserve for a photography contest which runs through Feb. 15, 2012. This inaugural competition will help document the flora in this new preserve, which was 80-acre Wildflower Golf Club located in Cape Haze, Fla., the western part of Charlotte County. Although I didn’t see wildflowers during this visit (I’ll be making return trips) I snapped these photos during the trip.
